Seb Payne - Vice President As Vice President, Seb has the role of doing Sam’s dirty work, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting involved in as many other things in college as possible. Apart from being in a college band, Seb writes for the Palatinate, the Durham student newspaper, and is part of Purple FM, the Durham student’s radio station. She is in her third year of a degree in Combined Social Sciences (Philosophy, Sociology and IR), but is also useful to talk to about yoga, Amnesty International, henna tattoos... or anything really... she loves a good chat. His main job this year is running the bar and ensuring lash-o'clock is a pleasant time. He is also the boss of the gym, a volunteer for various Mildert charities and also helps coach the Team Durham boxing team. She plays netball for college and works behind the bar. She also runs the fantastic Van Mildert Prison Project (VMPP), which, if Laura has her way, you will all sign up for in Freshers’ Week.
